“Be comfortable in being uncomfortable.” Life is composed of both good times and bad times. It is never complete without the presence of another. However, it is during those challenging times that we feel the weight of the world. Truly, it's natural to want to avoid discomfort because its human nature to seek comfort and security, but we must realize that it's also where we find our strength, resilience, and adaptability.
Sometimes, we can be so complacent in our comfort zones that we forget to explore more of what we’re capable of doing. Hence, we must recognize that growth and self-improvement often come from stepping outside of our comfort zones. It has been said that the most successful people in life have often faced the most adversity and discomfort, but they've used those experiences as stepping stones to achieve greatness. In sports, athletes are constantly pushing their limits, testing their abilities, and facing adversity head-on. They understand that every day is a game and every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Similarly, in the game of life, we must be willing to move in the direction that not everyone can risk taking, the path to passion and greater purpose.
