Is Taking A Vacation Selfish or Self Care?
In this episode, I tackle the controversial subject of taking time off as a physician. Many physicians choose to not take time off from work for many reasons some of which are self imposed and others are due to administrative restrictions. Physician burnout has been proven to be bad for the physician, their family, patients and the organization. However, it remains a taboo subject in the workplace.
