In this episode, Dr. William J. Hicks II, MD joins TimeOut With The SportsDr. to discuss the diagnosis and management of concussions. Each athlete, coach and training staff should be well versed in how to diagnose and treat an athlete in a game setting and for safe return to play. Each state has laws that are in place to protect the athlete and provide guidance for treatment.
Dr. Hicks is a neurologist specializing in vascular neurology and serves as the co-director of the Riverside Methodist Hospital Comprehensive Stroke Center.
